How to request deletion
In the app — fastest
Open SchoolSphere and go to Settings → Account → Delete account. Confirm when prompted. Your account and associated data are removed straight away, and your subscription is cancelled.
This is the quickest route and requires no waiting.
By email — if you can't access the app
Email us from the address on your SchoolSphere account and we'll process the deletion for you:
Please send it from the email address registered to your account so we can verify the request. We'll confirm once it's done.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- Your account and profile (name, email address, login credentials)
- Your children's names and any school details you've added
- All calendar events, tasks, reminders and clubs created in the app
- Connected mailbox authorisations (Gmail / Outlook) and any forwarding addresses
- Your trusted-sender list and app preferences
Email and document content is never stored in the first place — it's read in memory, the event details are extracted, and the original is discarded immediately. So there's nothing of that kind to delete.
What we may retain, and why
A small amount of data may be kept after deletion only where the law requires it:

Retained records are kept secure, are not used for any other purpose, and are removed once the legal retention period ends.
Timeframe
In-app deletions take effect immediately. Email requests are actioned promptly and completed within 30 days. We'll email you to confirm once your data has been removed.
